Great Family Fitness Tips!

Working out, as a family is fun and important. Below you will find a list of some family fitness tips and suggestions.

1) Go for an after dinner walk. This is a great way to unwind and tire the kids out before bed. Younger children can ride in a stroller while older children might want to bike.2) Go tobogganing. Climbing up a hill pulling a sled with child in tow is a great workout.3) Take advantage of public facilities, such as skating or swimming. Most of these things cost as little as $10 for a couple hours.4) Clean the house. Make a race out of picking up all the toys first. Vacuuming is great exercise as well as washing the floors by hands is as well.5) Cutting the grass or shoveling snow is good cardio. Give the kids rakes or shovels so they can help. If the kids are older let them knock on neighbor’s doors and ask to do their yard for free or money.6) Spend the day at the park or beach. Pushing children on the swings works out the biceps. 7) Go to a local nature park. Walking and looking at nature is very relaxing and interesting.
