Parenting AdviceEveryone has parenting advice. Your next door neighbor, family, even the little old lady sitting on the bus beside you. The trick with all of this advice is to take what you need or want and leave the rest. This can be really hard especially when you have a screaming toddler throwing a temper tantrum in the middle of the grocery store and some body standing beside you telling you that their children never behaved liked this. You need to know one important secret everyone's children misbehave at some point or another. The best advice that I ever came across is discover what works for you and your child and stick to that. Of course you will have to re-adjust every three months or so but... My child has been especially trying at times so I have read many different books that have proved to be quite helpful. My personal favorite at this time is "1-2-3 Magic". One of my friends uses it and it is unbelievable how it works with her daughter. She only has to count to 2 before her daughter stops mis-behaving.
